Our Classically Trained Boston Pilates Teachers

At Endurance Pilates & Yoga, teaching is considered a craft developed through years of study, mentorship, and practice.

Our instructors are not simply fitness trainers leading workouts. Each teacher has undergone extensive education in Pilates, movement science, and body awareness, and many have completed rigorous classical Pilates training programs. Several of our instructors also hold certifications in yoga, personal training, rehabilitation-informed movement, and other complementary disciplines.

Endurance teachers share a common philosophy: movement should be intelligent, sustainable, and deeply personalized.

Rather than teaching from a script or a one-size-fits-all format, our instructors work with each student’s individual body — whether someone is recovering from injury, building strength after years away from exercise, preparing for athletic performance, or refining an advanced Pilates practice.

The Pilates system uses specialized apparatus — including the Reformer, Cadillac, Chairs, and Barrels — to guide the body toward strength, alignment, and efficiency of movement. At Endurance, these tools are used with careful attention to precision, progression, and the unique needs of every student.

Many of our instructors have been part of the Boston Pilates community for years, and several are actively involved in mentoring the next generation of teachers through our developing Endurance Pilates Teacher Training program.

julie erickson

Julie Erickson

Owner and Founder, Endurance Pilates and Yoga LLC

Julie Erickson is the founder of Endurance Pilates & Yoga, a classical Pilates studio in Boston’s South End known for expert instruction, individualized sessions, and a thoughtful, results-driven approach to movement.

With over 30 years of experience in movement and fitness and over 35 movement and wellness certifications, Julie is a Master Pilates Trainer, yoga teacher, and personal trainer with extensive training in both Classical and Contemporary Pilates methods. She founded Endurance in 2009, creating a studio grounded in the original Pilates system and a commitment to intelligent, sustainable strength.

Her work is rooted in classical Pilates and informed by a deep understanding of biomechanics, injury recovery, and long-term physical health. Julie trained and certified through several Classical programs including re:AB Pilates in New York City, MeJo Wiggin’s Classical Syllabus, and in the Romana Pilates Teacher Training program. She also holds certifications from Stott Pilates, Balanced Body, NASM, and ACE.

Julie works with a wide range of clients—from beginners to experienced practitioners, including runners, athletes, and individuals returning from injury—offering precise, highly personalized sessions using the full Pilates apparatus. Her teaching emphasizes clarity, control, and intelligent progression, helping clients build strength, improve alignment, and move with greater ease in everyday life.

She holds a BA from Tufts University and an MBA from Babson College, and was recognized by Boston Magazine as Best of Boston® Personal Trainer. Her work has also been featured in The Boston Globe and the HBO documentary Marathon: The Patriots Day Bombing.

Giordana Gallo

Principal Pilates Teacher

Originally from Italy, Giordana is a former professional ballet dancer with an impressive background. She began her journey at the prestigious La Scala Academy in Milan and graduated from the Royal Ballet School of London. Throughout her career, she had the honor of performing in theaters worldwide and spent seven unforgettable years with the Royal Danish Ballet in Copenhagen.

Her passion for Pilates started very early in her life as it became an essential part of her training and recovery routine, helping her maintain peak performance and prevent injuries. Now, as a Pilates instructor, Giordana loves working with the body, understanding its complexities, and helping others achieve their fitness and wellness goals. She is a kind and social person, dedicated to supporting and motivating her clients on their personal health journeys.

Morgyne Weaver

Morgyne Weaver

Principal Pilates Teacher

Morgyn is a Pilates instructor at Endurance Pilates & Yoga in Boston’s South End, where she teaches with an athletic, focused approach informed by her background in competitive sports.

Originally a basketball player, Morgyn discovered Pilates through her own injury recovery and experienced its effectiveness in restoring strength, improving alignment, and supporting long-term performance. That experience led her to pursue certification and deepen her understanding of movement and biomechanics.

Her teaching emphasizes control, precision, and building strength through thoughtful progression. Morgyn works with a wide range of clients—from beginners to athletes—helping each develop greater body awareness, stability, and efficiency of movement.

She brings a clear, encouraging presence to her sessions, guiding clients through focused, well-structured instruction that supports both performance and everyday movement.

Tiffany Fallin

Principal Pilates Teacher

Tiffany is a Pilates instructor at Endurance Pilates & Yoga in Boston’s South End. Trained through Balanced Body and Pilates Academy International, her teaching is grounded in the classical Pilates method and informed by a clear, accessible approach to movement.

She focuses on building strength, improving body awareness, and helping clients better understand how they move. Tiffany’s sessions emphasize proper mechanics, control, and thoughtful progression, creating a supportive environment for clients at all levels.

Her work blends a strong foundation in traditional Pilates with a practical, individualized approach, offering sessions that are both effective and approachable.

Jade McElroy

Pilates Teacher

Jade is a comprehensively trained Pilated instructor, certified in Mat and Reformer through Balanced Body. Her teaching focuses on layered repetition to help clients build strength and flexibility in a way that feels sustainable and intuitive. She views Pilates as a powerful way to find presence in your body by creating space to reconnect, deepen awareness and move with greater ease and confidence.
