Recognition
Best of Boston®
Personal Trainer.
Boston Magazine’s Best of Boston® award is among the most competitive recognitions in the city — judged by the magazine’s editors across hundreds of nominees in every category. Julie Erickson was named Best Personal Trainer in 2014, recognized for the depth of her credentials, the quality of her hands-on instruction, and her pro bono work with Boston Marathon bombing survivors.
It is not a popularity contest. It is an editorial verdict — from a publication that has covered Boston’s best for decades.
“With 20 exercise and teaching certifications, Julie Erickson certainly has the cred. But education alone doesn’t make a great trainer. Erickson’s technique is very hands-on — she’ll tell you exactly what parts you’re strengthening and why.”
