Founded in 2009 by Julie Erickson, Endurance Pilates and Yoga was created to deliver highly personalized, professional instruction rooted in experience, education, and integrity—never trends or one-size-fits-all workouts.
Our Story
Julie Erickson founded Endurance Pilates and Yoga after years of teaching Pilates, yoga, and fitness throughout the greater Boston area—traveling between studios, gyms, corporate offices, and community recreation programs. That early work shaped the foundation of Endurance: adaptable, client-centered movement guided by deep expertise.
Julie began her career in fitness while still in college and started her formal wellness education in 1995. More than three decades later, she brings that accumulated knowledge, precision, and insight to her studio in Boston’s South End and to clients training online.
What began as a mobile practice has grown into a trusted destination for those seeking classical Pilates, injury-informed training, and sustainable strength—whether in-studio or virtually.
Meet the Founder
Julie Erickson is a third-generation classical Pilates instructor, certified through multiple respected lineages, and holds an MBA in addition to extensive fitness, yoga, and nutrition credentials. Her background uniquely blends business leadership, movement science, and intuitive awareness, allowing her to work effectively with a wide range of clients—from beginners to experienced movers, from rehabilitation-focused clients to those pursuing peak performance.
Julie’s approach is precise, thoughtful, and deeply individualized. She is known for meeting clients exactly where they are, while helping them build strength, confidence, and resilience over time.
